What this site provides
Universal Image Compressor is a free, browser-based tool that reduces the file size of images, for example by lowering the quality, changing the format or reducing the size in pixels. It requires no account, charges no fee, and processes everything locally in your browser.
Acceptable use
You may use this tool freely for personal or professional purposes. You agree not to use it for illegal, fraudulent or deceptive purposes, or in ways that infringe the rights of others, for example by processing images you have no right to use. Compression is lossy: you are solely responsible for checking that a result meets your quality requirements and for keeping your original files.
No warranties
This site and tool are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The operator does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of this tool or any image processed with it, including loss of image quality or data. The tool is a utility for convenience; keep a copy of your original files.
Your images and results
The images you add and the results you produce belong to you. This site does not collect, store or claim any rights in them.
Advertising
This site displays advertisements delivered by third-party advertising networks. We do not create or select individual ads and are not responsible for their content or for the websites they link to. If you notice an inappropriate ad, please let us know via the contact page.
Changes
These terms may be updated at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Germany, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
